I was born in 1970 in Germany, as daughter of Greek immigrants. Thirty years later Love brought me to Norway’s idyllic Sorlandet and I myself immigrated to a foreign country. Since I can remember I loved drawing and painting and by taking several courses I could deepen my interest for it even further. I like to experiment with different materials. Often I have an idea of what I am going to paint. But as often as that the brush takes its own way and the painting develops under its progress, depending on moodes and impressions surrounding me. It has been my dream being able to exhibit and sell my work.
In October 2004 I had my first exhibition in the little and charming Gallery at the Staubo Culture Centre. Most of the paintings were in pastel and the motives were found in Greek and Norwegian landscapes. The success of this first exhibition really surprised me and motivated me to continue the painting. Since then I paint when ever there is time. I enjoy producing something own that can make the beholder happy or make them wonder.
My web gallery gives me the opportunity to show and sell my works. I would like to thank my dear family and friends who supported me in fulfilling my dream.
The different cultures in which I grew up, set their impressions and still touch me. I feel blessed being able to combine all the wonderful and distinctive Greek, German and Norwegian characters in my life. I try to transfer these feelings to my paintings.
